The Blessed Seal: Mark of Valor

Description: After planting a permanent seal anywhere on the blessed's body, they are free to activate this power as they see fit. The Blessed Seals originated on the arm of Shogun Kage, but have been researched and created from scratch to be used by a select few others. It costs B-rank chakra to create this seal, and B-rank chakra to activate. (Seal must be planted in topic prior to use of seal)

The Blessed Seals were designed to counter the Curse Mark, giving divine power to conquer darkness, particularly darkness of demons. This particular Blessed Seal, the Mark of Valor, focuses primarily on physical prowess and increased talent. It increases Speed by 3 ranks, and strength by 1. This isn't the only thing that it does, however, it also gives the user the ability to jump great heights of 30 feet, and to land safely on the ground. While in this form, basic physical attacks (punches, kicks, yada yada) will be negated by anyone that is the same rank and lower as the user. During this time, the user's eyes glow a bright red color. This lasts for 6 posts, and after it wears off, speed is reduced by 40% for six posts due to exhaustion, as well as all muscles becoming more tender (slightly painful to the touch) for the remainder of the topic (the muscle pain does not stack per use). Cooldown of 7 posts.

While in this form, D rank jutsu does not affect the user, and any burns done to the body are reduced by one degree. During this time, the user's eyes glow a bright blue color. This lasts for 10 posts, and after it wears off, speed is reduced by 50% for 7 posts due to exhaustion, as well as all muscles becoming more tender (slightly painful to the touch) for the remainder of the topic (the muscle pain does not stack per use). This particular Blessed Seal, the Ultima Mark, focuses on both aspects of the previous marks, and combines both aspects of mental prowess and physical eliteness. It increases reaction by 60% and it drops all jutsu costs by one rank. It increases Speed by 4 ranks, and strength by 2. While in this form, basic physical attacks (punches, kicks, yada yada) will be negated by anyone that is the same rank and lower as the user. This isn't the only thing that it does, however, it also gives the user the ability to jump great heights of 60 feet, and to land safely on the ground. While in this form, C rank jutsu does not affect the user, and all burning effects are negated by one degree. During this time, the user's eyes glow a bright white color. This lasts for 10 posts, and after it wears off, every stat in the user is dropped by 60% for five posts due to exhaustion, as well as all muscles becoming much more tender (very painful to the touch) for the remainder of the topic (the muscle pain does not stack per use). Name: Eagle Vision

Description: Shogun has always been rumored to have the eyesight of an Eagle. There is more fact to that then thought to be. By activating his Eagle Vision, he has the ability to see as far and as precisely as any eagle. It lasts for an entire topic. This does not boost reaction time in any way, it simply boosts distance and detail able to be covered by the eyes. After activation, it remains on for the remainder of the topic. His eyes also transform into the eyes of an Eagle, making the retna and the whites of his eyes turn a bright yellow color. The distance in which the eyes can see clearly is 5 miles. Through fog, it is reduced to 2 miles.

Name: Watoujutsu: Stage One
Rank of Jutsu: D

Type: Kenjutsu
Distance: Weapon length
Description: Passive. The Watoujutsu style of swordplay is a very unique style that only a few in this world are known to even know how to use, let alone that use it regularly. This jutsu focuses merely on offensive overwhelming so much that defense is not necessary. The weapon is now much easier to move through the air, making it so that quick jabs and swings from the odd position are able to be used. Much like the drunken fist, movements are harder to predict unless one has the Sharingan, but even then there is a slight delay. Lasts for six posts and has no cooldown.

Type: Kenjutsu

Description: Passive. Hadome is performed by crossing one's wrists above one's head and stopping a downward strike of a weapon, hand, or foot with the backs of the hands before the blade strikes the wrists or the skull. When done in this manner, a swordsman becomes able to catch an opponent's sword while still maintaining a grip on his own. Can only be performed on peoples that are of the same rank or lower. Cooldown of 3 posts.

Name: Hawatari

Type: Kenjutsu
Distance: Self
Description: Passive. An optional second step to the Hadome, Hawatari is a strike that is delivered after the Hadome has been performed successfully. With the opponent's sword immobilized, the user takes his opportunity to move forward, sliding the backs of his hands along the sides of the blade to keep it in check and striking unopposed upon forcing the opponent into his range. The user then spins around elegantly, swinging their blade at the unreadied opponent. Can only be performed after the Hadome. Cooldown of 3 posts.

Name: Seal of Freezing

Type: Fuuinjutsu

Description: Handseals. The seal of freezing releases a relentless pulsating source of elementless coldness, that slowly spreads from the seal on the victim. It causes complete numbness directly where the seal touches, and every post for 3 posts after, the radius of numbness increased by 4 inches. To override this, all the victim has to do is overload it with 10 chakra. Cooldown of 4 posts.

Name: Drunken Fist Style

Type: Taijutsu

Description: Suiken Ryuu is fighting style utilizing alcohol to loosen the body's muscles and the unstructured movements make the users attacks harder to predict. By being in this drunken state, the user can take more damage without feeling the pain, gain higher agility and provide a natural fluidity to their movements. To obtain the state where this technique becomes usable a character must ingest alcohol for two rounds in a row, after that the chakra cost is deducted from them and this technique begins and the effects last for up to five rounds. The actual stats is that there is zero way to predict or anticipate the user's movements before they occur without the sharingan (even then there is a slight delay), a loss of pain occurs (though a good direct blow of B rank level or higher will end the effects of the jutsu early) and the user's speed is increased +40% along with their evasiveness. Shogun learned this technique from Shinobu during his days in the gang.

Name: Martial Arts Style: Crouching Tiger

Type: Taijutsu

Description: Passive. This martial artist stance is completely defensive as far as purpose goes, and is useful to those who fight in the way of passiveness. The fighter using this style curls one hand into a fist, turns it upside down, and rests it pointed forward and beside their hip. The other hand is lifted in front of the user’s torso, palm open but fingers curled to look like a tiger’s paw. In this stance, the user can grab any taijutsu attack or kenjutsu attack (granted he grabs the blunt end before the sharp end hits) with the hand lifted forward. Then, the fighter uses the already formed fist, and bats the attack away. If a taijutsu move is grabbed and stopped, then the following punch with the opposite hand can fracture bones. If a kenjutsu move is caught, then the weapon is disarmed from the target. This has a 4 post cooldown.

Description: Passive. Jigen-ryū (示現流 lit: revealed reality) is a traditional kenjutsu and martial arts style developed in the Satsuma region of Japan in the late 16th century. It is famous for emphasizing the importance of the first strike with a long sword (or other bladed weapon), often not even giving thought to a second strike. The user of the technique holds his sword in the Dragonfly Stance (蜻蛉構) with the sword positioned vertically above the right shoulder before running forward at his opponent and then cutting diagonally down on their neck in the Kesagiri position. The slash travels at a speed of 70mph (just for one sword slash). Cooldown of 5 posts.

Special Jounin (B Rank)

Name: Martial Arts: The Jade Dragon
Rank of Jutsu: B

Type: Taijutsu
Distance: Self
Description: Passive. It is the offensive counterpart to the Crouching Tiger, focusing mostly on strategic ferocity in the attacks. The user takes a position in which the knees are bent and the feet are shoulder-length apart. He then raises both arms in front of him with open palms and stretched out fingers, resembling dragon's claws. The user waits again for their opponent to attack, but instead of waiting to counter it, they meet it head-on. The user can hit whatever the opponent is using to attack. If the opponent's kick, punch, or any other bodily attack is stopped, the area hit will receive bruising of the muscle and breaking of the bone. They will also be sent backwards into the air. As the opponent flies backward, the user grabs them by the foot before they get too far, pulls them back, and slams them into the ground. This not only creates an opening to a follow-up attack, but the contact with the ground knocks the wind out of the opponent. If a weapon-based attack is deflected, the user will hit any non-sharp part of the weapon, disarm it from the opponent, and it will also send the opponent flying backwards in the same manner. Cooldown of 6 rounds.

Description: Requires charging equal to handseals at this rank. The bowman utilizes this jutsu to increase the lethality of their arrows. After the proper amount of charging, the bowman is able to make their arrows fly 30mph faster, and 800 feet farther by using this ancient archery technique. It is actually all in the mind of the caster, however. After releasing chakra in the triceps, the forearm, and the frontal lobe of the mind, the bowman pulls back just a tad further on the bowstring just before releasing, and using the enhanced mindpower, is able to jerk the bow up just enough to make the arrow fly faster and longer right before the arrow leaves the bow. This jutsu applies to the next two arrows to be shot after it is activated and it has a 5 post cooldown.

Name: Seal of Telepathy

Type: Fuuinjutsu
Distance: Limitless
Description: Requires handseals. After the proper handseals, the user places a very small seal anywhere on the neck of the target. The seal tattoo is permanent, and it grants the user and the target the ability to talk back and forth through thoughts for an unlimited duration. The user cannot use this offensively in any way at all, and both parties choose when to talk to the other person. The targets can only talk mentally to the caster, and they cannot talk to others that have been sealed. Cooldown of 8 posts, no cooldown in a casual topic.

Jounin (A Rank)

Name: Martial Arts Style: Danzan-ryu
Rank of Jutsu: D-A

Type: Taijutsu

Description: Requires charging equal to handseals at the rank of school used. The martial arts style known as Danzan-Ryu has an odd list of philosophies and techniques. Unlike most martial arts techniques, the Danzan-Ryu moves list focuses on combining multiple movements and techniques into one fluid movement, utilizing speed above all else to do things like make an attack while at the same time dodging another one, performing two very different attacks at once, or performing grapple attacks at the same time as an acrobatic movement. The monks were the originators of this style of fighting, but have passed it on to Shogun, who is the only known teacher of this style in the shinobi world. Because this relies greatly on speed, speed training in this style of fighting results in the user having increased speed based on what school of fighting they take on and how much energy they put into it. After being activated, a Danzan-ryu school stays in effect for 5 posts, and one has to wait 6 posts before being able to activate the style again.

Shoden School (D):

20% Boost in speed.
Focuses mainly on limb-control, which means grasping specific limbs of the target as they attack and turned their movement into your attack, following up by a forceful blow by the user.

Chuden School (C):

45% Boost in speed.
Focuses on dramatic acrobatics and self-limb control. Mostly used attacks are full-body sweep kicks, rolls and flips followed by bouncing up into the target, and wheels used to get to various areas directly around the target in oddly fluid and quick amounts of time.

Okuden School (B):

70% Boost in speed.
Focuses on rushing the opponent with various limbs moving at the same time to confuse them as to which to evade or block. Frequently used techniques in this school are double-punches, spin kicks landing into grabs, and jumped that have fists and feet aimed at several different pressure points

Kuden School (A):

90% Boost in speed.
Combines all of the school's teachings into one style, using acrobatics to land complicated grapples and blows, often jumping over, under, and around the opponent in order to hit them in as many different places as possible in the shortest amounts of time, usually ending with some kind of limb-manipulation techniques.

Hadome: This seems more like Taijutsu than kenjutsu, mainly because there is no use of a blade. Also, I feel as if there should be a limit to the strength of sword you could catch. A D Rank shouldn't be able to catch a diamond blade (in the occurrence that there would ever be a diamond blade)

The strength of the blade has nothing to do with it, the only factor would be the strength of the other person, and I can add that I can only do it to people the same rank or lower. Also, if you re-read the description, this entire technique is about catching a sword while holding another sword without having to drop the other sword, so yes, it is kenjutsu.

Alright, add the strength thing. But after re-reading this, I really feel like you could do that even without a kenjutsu technique. Someone whose primary is kenjutsu should be able to do something like this on the fly no problem

Without being a Jounin, the reflexes required for it just aren't there, and I plan on teaching the tech to lower ranks, so for fairness' sake I made it a jutsu.
