Matsuo - Sear

Type of Equipment:Sword
Description:The Sear is a Blue and silver blade made up of steel. It has two blades on it making it usable on both directions. The blade and handle make the sword 4ft in length.
Ability (or Abilities):The user of the Sear has the ability to charge 20 chakra into the blade causing it to become charged with electricity when the user hits a target a bolt of lightning hits the victim which causes electrical burns.

Once the Sear has been charged with chakra for 1 post the electrical charge in the sword will last for 3 posts.

Lightning bolt: While the sear is charged with chakra the user can charge another 5 chakra into the sword giving them the ability to fire lightning bolts at their target.
The lightning blades main charge ability has a 3 post Cooldown. And the lightning bolt ability has a 5 post Cooldown.
When the user fires a bolt from the sword the damage is reduced 50%
The firing range of the bolt is 3 to 4ft.
The charge time for the lightning bolt ability requires only 1 post to charge.

Durability:The handle and blade are made of steel.
History of Item:The Sear is a Lightning blade that has been passed down Matsuo's clan for many generations Matsuo Received it from the clan Elders after proving himself worthy.

Sense you can fire it, how fast does the bolt travel? and Does it deal out the same amount of damage if it was still coating the sword?
