Gunbai Uchiwa Gunbai (FAN)
Description: The Gunbai (Uchiwa) is a large non-folding fan composed of chakra enhanced wood. Unlike regular fans which fold out from a single point, the Gunbai is a single flat fan with an exaggerated hourglass shape. Its base colour is a pale orange and it has a black metal wrapping around its edges to help give it form and durability. It has two sets of three tomoe near each other like two pair of Sharingan. Down the center of the fan is a long white steel pole. The end of the pole has about 8 inches of its length wrapped with white bandages and on the very end there is the beginning of a chain linked to the pole itself. The chain is approximately 10 ft long and is made of a very durable metal. The chain attaches to a clip which can attach to any part of Ayame''s clothing or to another one of her weapons. Ayame has made her own small modification to the weapon by sharpening down the metal shell around the fan which allows her to use it a bit like a sword, though not as effective as a real one.
Ability (or Abilities): By pouring their chakra into the fan the user is able to use Futton techniques with out the use of handseals but will still need to charge their chakra. This is due to the Gunbai being flat meaning its easier for the user to flatten their chakra to create Fuuton, by doing so the strain of using handseals is removed when the user focuses their chakra into the fan and swings it causing the Fuuton Jutsu to take place. The user is unable to use jutsu with the Gunbai if they do not pour their chakra into it.

History of Item: It is said that Gunbai Uchiwa once belonged to a famous figure of the Uchiha Clan. This mans name was Madarai Uchiha (うちはマダラ, Uchiha Madarai) who was a legendary shinobi who led the Uchiha clan prior to, and after the formation of Jokigakure. Madarai was also famous for his incredible fighting style and was an incredibly powerful man. During the time of the first wars Madarai created and used Gunbai Uchiwa and took many lives with a simple swing of the fan. After the death of Madarai a few years later Gunbai Uchiwa was lost through history, some say it was destroyed while others say he hid it for someone worthy to find it. After fighting King T'set Ayame won the right to choose her prize and chose the famous Gunbai Uchiwa, which is now in her hold.
